A friend recently recommended the Russian group Даша и Серёжа (or Dasha and Seryozha according to Google translate) and I’m thoroughly enjoying their debut release, Волшебство (or Magic).
The Fatboy Slim song, “Praise You,” randomly popped into my head, the other day, so, I decided to throw on the 1998 release, You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby. I was pleasantly surprised by this tune.
Bertrand Chamayou is another recent NPR discovery. His new release, Good Night!, is right up my alley.
I can’t say this tune was an original favorite off of Jamie Lidell‘s 2008 release, Jim, but damn, it is hitting me right, today.
Such a great opening track off of Josh Rouse‘s 2005 release, Nashville.

Really diggin’ the new Cut Worms release, Nobody Lives Here Anymore.
A friend recommended Deep Sea Diver, a few years back. I’m finally jumping on the bandwagon, as I’m thoroughly enjoying all of the singles off the forthcoming release, Impossible Weight, out 10/16.
I recently heard this Maple Glider song on NPR and fell in love.
